New Adventure Play Equipment

This week we were very pleased to officially open the brand new adventure play equipment on the top playground. As parents will remember from past newsletters, we are very grateful for the kind donations from both Perranporth Swimming Pool Fund, The Gardens Charity and FOPS that have enabled us to finance thisPlay equipment brilliant facility. Over the last two weeks the children have watched the building of the equipment with great interest and anticipation.

On Wednesday the wait was finally over! As part of the Swimming Pool Committee,we invited Bec Matthews to be the official ‘opener’ and cut the ceremonial ribbon. She was joined by our School Parliament members who designed and planned the equipment. After a few short words, Mrs. Matthews snipped the ribbon and declared the equipment open! And of course, the children didn’t need to be asked twice to try it out!

Playtimes have been an incredible amount of fun for the children on this new equipment and we’re sure the fun will continue for many years to come. A huge thank you to everyone who has contributed to the various funds that have gone towards this wonderful resource. Watch this space for news on developments to the equipment on the lower playground.
